6 tourism brands. 6 clearly defined target groups.

We raise the profile of specialists.

We have been developing and marketing specialised tourism brands for clearly defined target groups since 1994. With six in-house brands, we bring together hotels and destinations centred around specific holiday themes – from mountain biking, road cycling and gravel biking, through motorbike holidays and leisurely cycling tours, to cross-country skiing and ski touring.

This creates strong networks with expertise that combine tourism specialisation with targeted marketing.

Our strength: specialisation builds a profile.
A distinct profile leads to visibility. And visibility leads to demand.

We’ll help you develop your hotel or destination in a targeted manner – with a clear strategy, the right products and a profile that stands out in the market.

Targeted product development

From potential to a specialised offering

Not every hotel or destination meets all the criteria for one of our themed brands right from the start. What matters is the potential. Together, we analyse where your strengths lie, which holiday theme suits your offering, and how this can lead to a clear positioning that delivers real added value for your guests.

MTS Austria supports you every step of the way, from the initial analysis through to strategy and product development, right through to successful marketing. In doing so, we look not only at individual services, but at the entire tourism product: target groups, positioning, infrastructure, services, experiences, quality standards, communication and sales.

In this way, we develop, step by step, an offering that suits your business or destination, clearly sets you apart from the competition and is well understood by the market.

From an idea to a concept. From a concept to a successful product.

  1. ANALYSIS
We assess the current situation, potential, target audiences and existing offerings. In doing so, we identify strengths, opportunities for development and those themes that genuinely suit your hotel or destination.
  2. STRATEGY
Based on these findings, we develop a clear positioning. We define target audiences, your unique selling proposition (USP), quality standards and the strategic direction for long-term, successful specialisation.
  3. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We translate the strategy into concrete offerings and experiences. Together, we develop suitable services, infrastructure, quality standards and products that are relevant to and bookable by your target audience.
  4. MARKETING
A good product needs visibility. We bring your positioning and offering to the right channels and combine digital marketing, content, media partnerships and our specialist networks to create an effective marketing campaign.

FAQs about the brands

Why does MTS Austria rely on different tourism brands rather than a single brand covering all holiday themes?

MTS Austria works with six specialised tourism brands because mountain bikers, road cyclists, gravel bikers, motorcyclists, leisure cyclists and Nordic winter sports enthusiasts have different expectations of their holidays. Each brand brings together suitable offers, accommodation providers and content for its target group. This enables hotels and destinations to market themselves more effectively without losing their unique characteristics within a general tourism brand.

Can our hotel reach guests from other countries via the MTS brands?

Yes. The six MTS tourism brands bring together specialist hotels and destinations across national borders. Depending on the brand, the network extends from Austria and Italy to Germany, Slovenia, France, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. This enables hotels to become part of an international themed world and reach guests who are specifically looking for their preferred holiday theme.

What role does our own hotel or destination brand play within an MTS brand?

Your own brand remains important, as it reflects the unique character of your hotel or destination. The MTS tourism brands complement this identity with a shared thematic positioning and marketing tailored to specific target groups. For example, a hotel can retain its own profile whilst also gaining visibility within a specialised cycling, bike or winter sports brand.

How can we, as a hotel or destination, benefit from the expertise of other brand partners?

The MTS brands bring together hotels and destinations that face similar challenges in the tourism sector. The exchange of ideas within these networks enables partners to draw on experiences in product development, marketing and collaboration with specialist guests. MTS Austria supports its partners not only with marketing, but also with the ongoing development of their tourism products.

What happens if our hotel or region doesn’t yet fit in with any of the MTS brands?

MTS Austria can then work with you to assess which development steps are appropriate for achieving the right specialisation. Not every business or destination meets all the criteria for a themed brand right from the start. MTS therefore also assists with analysing existing strengths, strategic positioning and the development of suitable offerings before joint marketing begins.
